Oswestry, 1994....

Created by Nora 3 years ago

I met john when I was Per's au pair in Oswestry yearsssssssss ago. Per was surrounded by lots of interesting people. I was amazed by everybody's talent. In the gang there were few of them that I felt a real connection with. John was part of those few. At that time, I was far from understanding his talent and role in all the projects I discovered from ready all the testimonies. My English was too poor to realize the great Engineer he was. So to me John was "only" a kind, discret, generous, funny, smart, friendly person. I loved his humanity and positive mind straight away. We became friends. Unfortunately a challenging private life did not allow me to keep our friendship on but.... "John you were always in my mind and heart, asking Françoise or Joe about you over the years". As you promised to you I kept the plate representing your lovely Isle of Wight with ships in the countryside always handy and visible to me eyes.... as if you were around.

Rest in peace John. I was honored to meet and get to know you. Above the pictures and great memories together, be sure John that I have some of you in me that I will always cherish. My foundest sympathy to his family and partner. Nora
